Alzheimers Fastlab Fundraiser, 22nd March 2014, Different Dancing Memories
Another amazing Memories event at Mercure Ardoe Hotel evening where 353 guests watched 6 couples from various backgrounds in Aberdeen who all committed to learning how to dance the cha cha and slow waltz then compete on the night for a similar Strictly Come Dancing theme in aid of raising funds for an Alzheimers Fastlab research equipment at Aberdeen Forresterhill Research centre.
This was in conjunction with the Aberdeen Uni Dev Trust and Lord Provost's Charitable trust. An amazing £51.200 was raised on the night.
The event was supported also by Strictly Come Dancing Celebraties Kristina Rihanoff and Robin Windsor who were judges and then danced later also Scotlands amateur champions Hilary Mout and Tibor Poc. The dancing was fantastic and the outcome was tremendous raising so much on the night.
