Using state-of-the-art imaging techniques, researchers at the University of Aberdeen, are optimising methods to highlight regions of cellular damage to improve patient care and disease management.
This analysis is carried out by a sophisticated system including a Mass Spectrometer (MS) which will be purchased through the generous donations received at the Alzheimers Scanning Unit fund raiser event.
With the support and generosity of donors, we can increase our understanding of this disease through high quality scientific research and together take a step closer towards a cure.
